“Theatre of Moving Objects” is a project that documents innately still objects as they move (or rather being moved) in front of the camera lens. The footage is captured with super 8mm film, in places and countries we live in and travel to. The objects range from things we own and use, to things that belong to our friends and families in different cities around the world and things we encounter in the streets, seemingly unowned. If the world is composed by the objects we encountered and places we have been to, this film leaves a trail of us walking farther out of the common world and deeper into our own private one, let everyday objects to be “reborn” in simple movements. It is also about returning to the beginning stages of the human cognition, a state in which we do not differentiate between objects, between ourselves and objects, between the living and the inanimate.
